Digital Marketing Academy Terms and Conditions

Invoice and Payment 

Course fees, including any additional transfer charges, are due in full prior to the course taking place. 

Digital Marketing Academy will issue you with a tax invoice for all group or public classes as well as for our webinars and web-based classes. Before we can issue an invoice, we require you to register and make payment via our ecommerce or EFT facilities, with proof of payment (POP) emailed to info@digitalmarketingacademy.co.za.

In order to secure a place in the class, we need payment to be made in full at least 3 working days prior to course start date. We cannot guarantee placement for payments received late.


Any discounts on Digital marketing Academy courses are exclusive – they cannot be combined. Where discounts are offered these must be requested at time of booking, and will not automatically be applied. Discounts are at the discretion of management.


Group Open Courses

All cancellations and/or transfers for courses must be requested in writing to info@digitalmarketingacademy.co.za and we recommend you receive an acknowledgement from us in return. You may substitute a delegate/attendee with another with no charge but please contact us in advance of your course if you wish to do this.

Custom On Site Training

If you have confirmed and agreed to any training work or project, and you wish to cancel or postpone this work or project, please note that payment will be required according to the following: 

  • Cancellation or postponement less than 10 working days before due date - 100% payment of the programme quoted fee will be due. 
  • Cancellation or postponement between 10 to 20 working days before due date - 50% payment of the programme quoted fee will be due. 
  • Cancellation or postponement more than 20 working days before due date - 0% payment of the programme quoted fee will be due. 


Date Transfers 

An Administrative fee of R750 will be charged per student if transferred to another date after training has commenced. Payable before the next training date. 

Date Changes or cancellations

The Digital Marketing Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule group or public training events, or webinars, depending on attendance numbers. The Digital Marketing Academy will use all reasonable endeavours to give as much advance notice of any alteration as possible. 

Digital Marketing Academy will make every effort to provide the services as specified, but, if for any reason beyond its control it fails to do so, neither Digital Marketing Academy nor its directors or employees shall be liable for any resulting loss or damage. In such circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date or a credit note.


Intellectual Property 

Attendees of The Digital Marketing Academy courses will receive course materials from The Digital Marketing Academy (the "training materials"). The training material is solely for the personal and non-commercial use of each attendee of a Digital Marketing Academy course, which may not be used to provide any form of training or instruction to another person besides the attendee of the Digital Marketing Academy course in question. The Digital Marketing Academy is the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title and interest in and to the training material, as well as the course curriculum, materials, and related documentation (collectively, "curriculum"). 

Company, clients and its employees agrees that they shall not, and shall not permit others to; (a) rewrite, reproduce, or distribute in any form or by any means any part of the training materials or curriculum; (b) remove any proprietary notices or labels on the training material or Curriculum; or (c) use any portion of the Training Material or Curriculum to provide any training or instruction to any person or to develop any other curriculum or training material. 



The Digital Marketing Academy will only issue an attendance certificate or 100% class attendance. In some cases, certificates are only issued for attendance of all course days for given course (5 days attendance for the 5-day Advanced Digital Marketing Course).



Refunds will be made at the discretion of Management and only when deemed reasonable and fair. Refunds are not available for customers who do not turn up for the full day, or only show up for a few hours of the course.

The Digital Marketing Academy reserves the right to change the content of the products and services, particularly to reflect advancements of the methodologies, without notice.

Digital Marketing Academy’s courses are constantly updated and improved and we reserve the right to alter any of the courses’ content without prior notice. 



By submitting a booking to us, by whatever means, you are acknowledging that you have received authorisation for this expenditure from the relevant person at your institution, therefore we reserve the right to pursue payment for your booking 7 days after it was taken.

Legal interpretation

The materials, training and courses provided by Digital Marketing Academy cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation. Neither Digital Marketing Academy nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for delegates’ actions, or those of other people reading the course notes or interpreting the training in litigation, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the training or the training notes.
